Grading Policies

Grading will be based on the point system. Each assignment and activity will count for some amount of points.

 

Daily homework will not carry the same amount of points as a test. I will post an updated grade on a weekly basis so there should be no surprises.

 

Assignments for  the week will always be listed on the assignment/agenda board in the classroom so students will always know what assignments are and when assignments are due. Make sure to check with your  child as to where they are with their current grade and assignments.

 

In terms of late work, students will be given three opportunities each quarter to receive a late pass allowing them to turn in an assignment one day late. Any assignment after one day late, or after using up the three late passes, will receive a zero on that particular assignment.
