1. Begin your task by investigating which instruments you will need to place in their correct families. To do so click on the following icon and when you are finished viewing the instruments, return to find out the next step in your investigation.
2. You may use any of the following websites to locate the instrument you are looking for. Listen to each of the instruments and decide which family it belongs in. Then click on and drag the picture to the appropriate box. Do this until all of the instruments are in their appropriate families. (You must hold down the ctrl key and click on the words below to access these websites.)
3. Print out a completed copy of the Forming Families worksheet and put your name on it before you turn it in to your teacher.
