| I did my planning the old fashioned way, with graph paper, a pencil, and a track template. It has worked out surprisingly well so far. I have had very few problems with track and switches fitting in where I planned them. In fact, I have usually ended up with a little more room than I planned. Here is a copy of the lower level plans. These plans are a bit hard to see, as they are scans of my actual drawings. To better understand the layout plans, see each individual town for either pictures from the layout or, for as yet unmodeled portions of the layout, larger versions of these scans that are specific for that area. I have a friend making me detailed CAD drawings from these scans, so look for those in the future. |
