Upon reaching the second level, trains will approach the city of Marquette, MI. This city
will not be modeled on the layout at all. What will be here in its place will be one
industry, Marquette Papers. I plan to have this area be a focal point on the layout as it
will be the first thing a visitor sees when they enter the layout room. If all goes
according to plan, the paper mill will be almost twenty feet long! This will include a
small switching yard on the "south" end, with the rest of the real estate being used for
the mill itself. This area will definitely keep an operator busy.
