I am a native of Green Bay and graduated from Notre Dame Academy. I attended the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh and earned a Bachelor degree in Human Services. My first job was at the Boys and Girls Club in Oshkosh. Working there helped me realize I wanted to pursue a degree in Education. I went back to college, earned a teaching degree, and a Master’s degree in Special Education. I have been teaching in Hortonville since 2001 and feel fortunate to have a job that I truly love!
I am the assistant coach for 8th grade volleyball at HMS. I also enjoy judging Forensics and Debate for Hortonville and other area school districts during the school year. I am a member of the HFT negotiation team and help to negotiate items in the teacher contract. The school year is filled with many exciting activities, and then I look forward to each summer when I can experience a different age group, as I teach Pre-First graders during Summer School.
I am an avid Hortonville soccer supporter, and you can find me cheering on the boys’ JV soccer team in the fall, and the girls’ Varsity soccer team in the spring. My fantastic husband is the coach for both of those teams! |
