DRESS CODE FOR PERFORMANCES

Many compliments have been received regarding the band members' dress at performances.   We believe that a group who sounds good should also look professional when performing.   Therefore, the following dress code will be enforced:

FIFTH GRADE:   Students should wear their fifth grade band T-shirts, black pants or skirts, and dark shoes.   Black jeans are acceptable, but NO SHORTS please.

SIXTH, SEVENTH, and EIGHTH GRADE:   Students should wear their GMS Band polo shirts, BLACK pants or skirts, and dark shoes.   No shorts please.

MARCHING BAND:   7th and 8th graders will wear their GMS Band polo shirts and BLACK pants for the marching band performance.  If the weather is chilly on parade day, students may choose to wear a red or white turtleneck underneath their polo shirt.
