Reading Workshop

Reading Workshop is a block of time (about an hour) which involves a number of components.  The components during the workshop may include the following items:

*Book Talk

*Mini Lesson

*Independent Reading

         *Student/teacher conferencing

         *Reader’s notebook letter

*Guided Reading

*Literature Study

*Group Share

 

Reading levels for third grade range from a level L in the beginning of the year to a level P at the end of the year.
