Language -Word Study

Language Word study is a 30-60 minute part of our day which explores language usage, spelling, and handwriting.

 

Written language and its conventions are discussed, and applied daily through mini-lessons and a daily editing activities.

Word Study is a guided approach to investigating the meaning and structure of words through a weekly principle and Buddy Study.

* Word principle and words are chosen.

* Build, check, mix is a process to identify word parts, patterns and principles.
